YICHU 1.0 is a three-chapter experimental moving image and performance work that traverses protopian futures, digital embodiment, and AI-mediated identity. Set in a world where human consciousness transcends the limits of flesh, the piece explores the raw emotional terrain of transformation, self-reconstruction, and collective evolution. Through a fusion of machine-generated visuals, ritualistic movement, speculative narration, and layered electronic soundscapes, YICHU 1.0 unfolds across fractured realities and techno-mythic dreamscapes. As sound and image converge in a posthuman rite of passage, the work examines how memory, identity, and emotion mutate under algorithmic influence—blurring the boundary between self and system, performer and machine. Both intimate and otherworldly, YICHU 1.0 confronts one of the most urgent and universal questions of our time: What remains of “self” when memory and innovation collide?
