MUTEK Forum Opportunity

We’re proud to announce our partnership with MUTEK, through which one 2026 Lumen Prize finalist will be selected to present at MUTEK Forum in Montreal (August 26th–28th). Preference will be given to Montreal and Canada-based finalists where there is a strong curatorial fit.

Special Commendation Award

Building on previous editions, we are pleased to present a Special Commendation Award in partnership with The Generative Art Foundation, dedicated to identifying and supporting a BIPOC female artist working in generative art, with a $5,000 prize.

Carla Rapoport Award

The Carla Rapoport Award honors art that brings visibility to underrepresented voices, ideas, and communities. The winner is personally selected by Lumen Prize founder Carla Rapoport and runs alongside the Prize categories with a prize pool of $1,000 and additional support for project development.

The Nordic Award, sponsored by Kunstsilo, recognises technology-driven art by artists from Nordic countries. After six incredible years of partnership, we’re pleased to share that the award will return for 2026 with a $1,000 prize pool.
